Biography

Karin Sofia Swanström was a Swedish actress, director, producer and theatre director. She was artistic leader and production director at the Swedish Film Industry (SF) between 1933 and 1941. Her film debut was in filmed in Mauritz Stillers "De landsflyktige/The fugitives" (1921), this role was followed by almost another 50 films. Karin Swanström directed 4 productions 1923-1926.
