Biography
Ahmed Fayez Nafea Galal is an Egyptian film director based in Alexandria. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Alexandria University in 2020. Ahmed began his artistic journey in 2017 as a theater actor before moving into filmmaking. He developed his skills through various workshops and later joined the Arab Film and TV School, which he graduated from in 2024 with his short film “The Postman” , Winner the Best Film Award at Sumer Film Festival in Baghdad. In 2025, he continued his cinematic education at the Jesuit Film School in Alexandria, graduating with his film “Image Burning”. Since 2019, Ahmed has been involved in the production of numerous short films, taking on a range of creative and technical roles including director, cinematographer, editor, and sound recordist. His works have been selected for and screened at several film festivals both inside and outside Egypt.
