Selim Chebbi

Bouchra, raised in a mausoleum dedicated to the saint Sidi Sardi, is confronted by a hostile imam who wants to turn her family home into a mosque. Her life is turned upside down when she meets Ahmed, a cameraman willing to help her make a film about the saint. Set in the 1940s during World War II and before Tunisia's independence, the series reflects the Tunisian resistance to French colonialism, whether by the people (through the "Fellagha" group) or the trade union, emphasizing all aspects of that period and the social, economic, and political events.
