Biography

Hussein Kamal is an Egyptian director. He was born in 1934 and studied film directing in Paris until 1965. Upon his return, he started a prolific career as a film director, making famous acclaimed art house films, including “Al Mostahil” (The Impossible), “Al Bostagy” (The Postman), and “Tharthara Fawq Alnil” (Blabbering Over the Nile). He died in 2003 at the age of 69.
