When Santa Claus, in the midst of an existential crisis, suddenly disappears during the holiday season, his wife Margaret must roll up her sleeves and save the most special day of the year.

Leonardo, an obituary author, lives an isolated and disillusioned life, which is completely turned upside down when he befriends an eccentric group of ghosts. Among them there is also the spirit of Leonardo's father, in a youthful and enthusiastic version that his son does not remember ever experiencing.
