Tony, a middle-aged man, is sitting at a table with a chessboard setup. Brent, in his early twenties, walks into the cafe and takes a seat across from Tony. They play a game of chess while they talk about business, through the lens of chess. Tony is clearly a veteran that has been playing a long time, and knows his way around the board. Brent is new to the game, but has a creativity and strategy that Tony can’t read.
With everything to prove, a determined young painter competes in a twelve-hour art competition. But when her model becomes mysteriously frozen in time, she is forced to confront the truth that real creativity needs movement, vulnerability, and connection.
