Two families of the Neapolitan Camorra fight for power.
A revolution in Iran halts a heroin shipment, but an alliance of crime families is set on getting it to the US. They decide to run the drug through an unsuspecting network of good-natured, local smugglers in Naples, while an international anti-narcotics agent rushes to shut their operation down. Betrayals and divided loyalties lead to a final, bloody confrontation in America.
Combining musical and dance numbers with comedy sketches (performed by members of The Armando Curcio Company and The Gauthier Ballet Troupe)without any plot, this is more of a revue than a movie, along the lines of The Ed Sullivan television series in the U.S.

In Naples, Professor Bellavista is a retired man, passionate about the philosophy and thought of Ancient Greece. Every day, in his luxurious apartment, he teaches his lessons of life to the poor-nothing (his friends), who are dazzled by his reasoning. One day, however, the quiet life of the building of Bellavista will be disturbed by the arrival of a director of Milan. Between Naples and Milan there contrast, because the Neapolitans are accustomed to enjoy a quiet life, always based on the "philosophy of pleasure and delay", while the northern Italians are very strict and punctual.
Gennarino is a Neapolitan orphan boy. He lives with Angela, his adoptive mother, a former famous singer now fallen on hard times. She has a serious illness, and they together try to get the money, necessary for her right care, by singing around. But one day Angela is obliged by the illness to stop her activity, and Gennarino decides to join a pilferers gang.
Love is born between Anna, daughter of Alfonso, a wealthy farmer, and Luigi, a drum player in a musical band, who live in two different villages-Square on the Piano and Casalieta. This feeling is thwarted by her father, who would like to give her in marriage to Nicolino, a law student and son of a landowner, who has seen the girl only once and was struck by her beauty. Ahead of a party, her father prevents Anna from going out into the square where the band is scheduled to perform; the girl then comes up with the idea of delivering a note to Rosetta, the innkeeper's sister and a great friend of hers, finding mediation from Marcellino.
Don Salvatore Savastano, a boss involved in the smuggling of contraband cigarettes, is forced to watch four masked robbers kill his wife and his only son in a restaurant where he and his family are celebrating the young boy's first Holy Communion. Amelia, a beautiful and irrepressible girl known as "La Rossa", returns from Paris to her country, a small seaside town in southern Italy, where her father is the lighthouse keeper. To her father and her fellow villagers, she gives the impression that she is married to a rich gentleman. In reality she is only the friend of Pierre Dupont, an elegant Parisian bandit. Dupont, however, actually gives the girl a certain economic comfort. Later Pierre arrives in the country incognito, being wanted for a large theft of jewels in Paris, and Amelia, her lover and accomplice, helps him to hide.
