Casey Trotter is a 14-year-old, award-winning actor and musician making waves in both theatre and television. Based in Vancouver, Canada, Casey burst onto the professional stage in 2024 when Theatre Under the Stars cast him as Freddie, the drummer, in School of Rock: The Musical. Over a sold-out, 26-show run, he electrified audiences with his powerhouse drumming, strong vocals, and charismatic stage presence-earning rave reviews from fans and critics alike. His breakout performance garnered significant recognition, including the prestigious Aida Broadbent Award for Outstanding Performance and Professionalism, an Ovation Awards nomination for Outstanding Artistic Achievement, and the District of North Vancouver Youth Recognition Award for excellence in music and performance. Casey's on-screen work includes appearances in The Thundermans and Sugarplummed, with several exciting projects currently in development.
