Biography
Watching, admiring, and studying action movies since childhood, Jakob Laus stands out as the first action filmmaker from iACADEMY directing multiple action short films such as Limbo (2023), and Slice of Death (2023) which was awarded Best Art Direction in the Ground Glass Film Festival. He then defended his action sci-fi thesis film, FACTORY RESET (2025) the first action thesis film to be successfully defended in iACADEMY. With Tokusatsu and action films as main inspirations, his filmmaking continues to deliver exciting film experiences with lessons on protecting the oppressed and the sanctity of human life.
