Lau Ching, a Mainlander with an incredibly powerful right arm, arrives in Hong Kong to find his cousin. He befriends with a drifter named Handsome, and a martial artist girl named Mandy. In order to woo her, Ching participates in a fighting competition in hopes of winning a $10 million prize, and must defeat his love rival, Wai, in the ring.

After the total defeat of his love rival, Ching must now deal with the love rival's brother, Wan To, who seeks revenge against him. When Ching is ambushed by Wan To and his gang in the streets and is at risk, he is rescued and treated by an apprentice of his, Beef Skin, and his feisty sister, Beef Stew. It turns out those two are even harder to handle than Wan To.

In late 15th century China, The Master, a Taoist priest, has been destined to fight the Japanese Demon King; a vengeful spirit who has power over the forest. Hong Kong photo-journalist Lau and Vietnamese translator Yuen Hung become friends when Lau is arrested for a traffic accident. Yuen wants Lau to find out the whereabouts of her brother. Lau is later thrown into prison again due to being mistakenly as a demonstrator and sentenced to three years of hard labor. With help of Yuen, Lau and Yuen's brother escape to China but Yuen's brother is killed on the way. Lau flees to freedom. Yuen cannot go to China and Lau has to let her go...

Wah later becomes a cop and uses his good skills to contribute in cracking cases which leads to the jealousy of Officer Cheung Yeung (Roy Cheung), the leader of the rival team. Cheung is also a Taekwondo expert who has a won a championship at the Hong Kong Police Force's Taekwondo Tournament.

Lung comes from China to Hong Kong in search of a new life and fortune. He is employed as a security officer by Lee at a night club that he runs. When Lee’s partner dies, his business is endangered by his partner’s son, Soufu. As retribution, Lee’s daughter May, hurts Soufu. Soufu’s anger gets the best of him, and he murders Lee. May must now make the next move in this deadly game of chess, and asks Lung to help her avenge Lee’s death. Lung hesitantly agrees, and the hunt is on to give Soufu exactly what he deserves!

Siu, who spends goofing off, finds out that he has Parkinson's Disease, and only one month to live. He decides to do something special before his death. He tries to help other, and accept challenges.

Comic artist Cheung befriends Tat, who he believes is a triad godfather. Tat provides useful information for Cheung's new comic strip, but the joke is on Cheung when the cops start solving cases with clues from his comic strip.

The setting of the Black Brick Castle that harvests poppy seed. But times are tough as the wait for a ship that is picking up the latest batches has either been intercepted by robbers or won't come at all and the boss of the castle, Chen Tsao, once was part of the robbing gang before inheriting the family business slowly loses his mind. Despite the copious amount of concubines around him, he is not able to impregnate a woman. and he made Chen Mao, a worker impregnate a concubine to have a heir. His father's outgoing ways with several concubines and opium smoking, seems to somewhat stop at him. But worldly circumstances possibly having to do with poverty and famine outside of the castle walls doesn't make matters stop at him to turn around in a positive way. On the other hand Chen Mao, has an eye for one of the female workers who is married to abusive Kui Kong who thinks she brings bad luck to him, although she struggles to raise her two children with this curse she's said to carry.

A group of friends take a trip to Thailand, where they stumble upon the ghost of a girl who was murdered by her boss. Needless to say, the ghost wants justice.

Cute and perky Cynthia Khan plays super cop Lydia Lee, the leader of the police force's A-Team. She's working on a murder case with her security guard boyfriend, and things get very silly very quickly.
