"MARS"

Through the moments captured by the years and the eyes of the masses, a collective point must be understood; humanity must remember, reflect, and engrave both the present and the past into its memory for the sake of the future. This experimental film seeks a narrative visual harmony through the simultaneous use and fusion of various original, archival, animated, and AI-generated footage.

Tahsin, who has begun to suffer from dementia, tries to prove to his son and granddaughter that he was once a clown. However, his efforts to validate the reality of his memories only lead him to question both himself and his sanity. The discrepancy between the person he believes he remembers and the person others say he was drives Tahsin into an identity crisis. Trapped between the colorful past he thinks he recalls and the grayness of the present, Tahsin begins to question who he truly is-and who he is supposed to be.
