Biography
Ellis James Spennser Plant, known as Ellis Spennser (born March 10, 2006) originally from Reading, Berkshire, England is an English-Australian filmmaker currently based in Sydney, Australia. He began studying film at Macquarie University in 2024. He has directed, as of September 2025, over fifteen films, and attends the Macquarie Civic Internship, taking on other film roles in commercial projects. In the second half of 2025, Spennser became the Production Manager (student leader) of Civic, and is now the Events Supervisor for Civic in the first half of 2026. At a young age, Spennser became a child actor and model, starring as an extra in the Yash Chopra-directed film "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" (2012), and appearing in Kriv Stenders-directed season 2, episode 6 of TV series "Doctor Doctor". He was also in a 2011 Gini and Joni advert that was displayed in over 200 shops in India. In 2013, he played a skeleton trick-or-treater in an advertisement for "Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre Foods". In 2025, Spennser helped fund Louise Weard's film "Castration Movie Anthology ii. The Best of Both Worlds", and is credited as an Associate Producer. He has previously been credited as Ellis Plant, Ellis James Plant, and Ellis J.S. Plant.
