Aurel Ghilezan, a young man recently released from prison, where he served time for vandalism after hitting his stepfather. He lives with friends from prison, and in private we see how his relationship with his girlfriend brings back unpleasant memories.

One of them is determined to present the discovery at an important international historical conference organized in Adamclisi, but his lazier colleagues look at him with envy.
