A coming-of-age tale told in a magical-realism style about a teenage boy, Morten, who feels out of place among his wealthier classmates. While they enjoy expensive school trips, he spends his days in his family’s dilapidated farmhouse, finding solace only in a camera gifted by his grandfather, a lens through which the world seems brighter. When two girls enter his life - Miia, a street artist, and Emilie, a mysterious girl from the marsh - Morten’s world is turned upside down as he struggles to understand both his first stirrings of love and the changing world around him.
At a late-night seance, attended by twelve people, the medium announces that five secrets will be revealed before midnight. There might, however, be one more - the darkest of them all.
