Z Jones

A woman wanders the streets of New York City, takes buses and trains, sits in bars and coffee shops, experiencing the city's diverse neighborhoods, while thinking about her life, her loneliness, unrequited love. She finds moments of communion with various people she meets along the way and with the city itself.

The film opens with a nameless wounded figure, bleeding out. A second person there watches them. They are there but completely separate. The person emotes. They feel for the person they watch but they do not do anything. The cycle repeats throughout the film as the audience watching the person grows yet nothing is done to help. Eventually, the person dies and the spectators move on.
