Raul Seixas abandoned his career as a music producer to become a singer, mixing rock with baião. He adopted a radical style and fell into addiction, but became a Brazilian rock icon.
Within his less-them-tolerant Brazilian community, young Edinho faces near constant bullying for being both Black and gay. Everything changes when he, his friends and his mother organize the city's first 'Gaymada' tournament - a rollicking dodgeball competition where the players are out and proud.
