Aleksandr Askoldov was born on July 17, 1932 in Kiev, Ukraine, USSR. He was a director and actor, known for The Commissar (1967), The Butterfly Hunt (1992) and Tal cual (1988). He was married to Svetlana. He died on May 21, 2018 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
