Amid the silent deterioration of his home and the fractured relationship between his parents, Antonio, a nine-year-old boy, discovers an abandoned shed on the outskirts of the neighborhood with his friends. Guided by a childlike intuition and the desire to solve the conflict between his parents, he decides to transform this shed into a refuge so that one of them can live there.
Candela accidentally runs over her nephew’s dog and decides not to confess in order to avoid ruining his birthday. She invents a legend about a pilgrimage of dogs and invites the boy to join the search. As they look for the dog, lies gradually begin to consume her.
Miguelito, an innocent seven-year-old boy, accompanies his father and grandfather on a hunt that will change him forever.
