This is a concert I've been working on for a long time. About five years in total. It's a stand-up comedy about the thoughts and actions that come and go a man takes as he enters his 40s. And how my "anxious" personality type plays into all of this. It's funny, relatable, unsettling, and heartfelt.
This is the story of gray-haired Nikolai Borisovich, a teacher and mentor, who one day gives up his career and gets a job as an ordinary courier in a multi-profile company. From the very beginning of the film, we see a determined old man who fulfills orders and step by step climbs the career ladder. Nikolai Borisovich always has an old Polaroid camera around his neck, and he records each new success and sends the photo somewhere in an envelope... Overcoming obstacles, Nikolai Borisovich, a true teacher by vocation, will prove that in one summer you can build a happy life. The main thing is to do it honestly. Just live.
