An indigenous woman fell in love with Father Anchieta, and even though the priest reciprocated her love, he did not want to give in to the temptation of the flesh.

After being unfairly dismissed from his post as an Air Force aviator, Ubi was reduced to the sad condition of a tramp. Upon discovering that his friend Mão Leve had stolen a watch from the gardens of the Ipiranga Museum, Ubi returned the watch to its rightful owner and was rewarded with a job as a pilot (number 13) on the mail service between Rio and São Paulo. The boss's daughter fell in love with Ubi and insisted he take her on her first trip, to Rio de Janeiro.

A country boy goes to São Paulo to enlist and leaves two girls in the countryside: one very simple and nice, who liked him, and another very pretty, who he liked.
