Nyein Thaw (Burmese: ညိမ်းသော်; born Nyein Nyein Thaw on April 13, 1993, in Monywa, Myanmar) is a Burmese actor and model. He established himself in the entertainment industry through male pageantry and modeling before achieving wider recognition for his acting roles in film and television series. He is the second of five siblings and pursued a degree in Law at Monywa University before fully committing to his career in entertainment. He began his professional career in 2014 after joining John Lwin's Stars Int'l Models Agency. He quickly found success in modeling, winning the male model contest Mr. ASNI 2014. His modeling work included numerous commercial shows, runways, and appearances in TV commercials, which ultimately led to acting offers. Nyein Thaw made a notable acting debut in the 2017 thriller film Nya (Night). The film was screened in Myanmar cinemas and became one of the country's highest-grossing films that year, earning him positive reviews and widespread recognition. Following his film success, he transitioned into television roles, appearing in both mini web series and full-length dramas: The Family Diary (2018), a mini web series produced by Samsung Myanmar. Yin Kwin Shin Tann (2019), a romantic drama series where he held a main role. Ah Saung (2019), a lead role in the thriller drama series. In 2020, he was cast in the drama films Hnin Pwint Say Yar and Oo Tu Mhar Tae Saung. Known for his striking looks and versatility across genres, Nyein Thaw continues to be an active and popular figure in the Burmese entertainment scene.

A group of friends decides to tease the weakest of the group on April fools day. What starts as an innocent joke quickly turns nasty, the teasing becomes cruel, and soon the victim seeks revenge. Elsewhere, another group of teens (including a trio of lovers) has its own problems relating to jealousy and betrayal. The two groups meet one night. That very night, or Nya, becomes the backdrop of the film.
