På spåret is a popular Swedish TV game show broadcast on SVT since September 5, 1987. The show, which is intended to be humorous yet educational, has remained one of the most popular TV shows in Sweden, attracting an average of 2,150,000 viewers during the 2007 season. The all-time record was set in March 1990, when 3.7 million people tuned in to see the show. This means that nearly every second Swede saw the game show. På spåret is an original format developed by Ingvar Oldsberg for SVT, and he hosted the show for many years. Author and tennis legend Björn Hellberg was promoted from contestant to permanent Oldsberg sidekick in 1995 after winning for four straight seasons. Famous gourmet, restaurant-owner, and former contestant Carl-Jan Grankvist sat in for Hellberg during the 2004 season. In 2009, after 21 years, Oldsberg left and Kristian Luuk took over as the host. Björn Hellberg too decided to leave and was replaced with Fredrik Lindström.

The first appearance on screen for Bert Ljung, a normal teenager who's diary Swedes have been able to follow in well over ten books now. As in the books, he fights spots, looks for girls, runs his moped, plays with his weird friends Ake and Erik, and a lot of other stuff teenagers are supposed to do.

When Håkan's mother Karin, who usually does most of the work in the family, becomes so stressed at the beginning of December that she breaks down and has to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital, there is a crisis, because Christmas is coming soon. Who will clean up, decorate and buy Christmas presents? And above all, where will the money come from?

The Andersson family and the Blixt family is going to Karin's aunt Hulda to celebrate Midsummer. But just before they leave, Sophie breaks up with Sune! The disaster is gigantic. Sune decides to win Sophie back by celebrating a truly romantic midsummer with her - just like mom and dad did 20 years ago. But the question is whether Sune thinks too much about everything being good in his way, and forgets that not everyone thinks like him ...

Bert wants to go to the beach and check out the girls in bikinis in general, and Paulina in particular. Bert's dad is going through a midlife crisis. Bert is forced to take over his dad's optician shop because his dad Fredrik would rather play with Bart's rock band "Heman Hunters". This turns out to have certain advantages, because a wonderful, fantastic girl comes to the shop. It's time to start middle school. Åke gets off to a strong start by blowing up the chemistry lab, and Bert falls in love with Ida. But Ida is with a guy called "The Gravedigger." For some reason, he wants to skin Bert alive.

Håkan has a babysitter, Amanda - the world's most boring one according to him - and he has to run home where he can attend a very important computer game competition. But Håkan is suddenly eye to eye with both burglars and ostriches.

Sune and Sophie are going on a class trip, "the secret journey". It turns out it is the same date as Sune's favourite grandpa is getting remarried. And his grandpa wants Sune to be his best man. When at grandpa's he changes his mind. He has to go back to the classtrip. After this we are on a road trip, Sune is chasing Sophie and the class - and his parents are chasing Sune.
