På spåret is a popular Swedish TV game show broadcast on SVT since September 5, 1987. The show, which is intended to be humorous yet educational, has remained one of the most popular TV shows in Sweden, attracting an average of 2,150,000 viewers during the 2007 season. The all-time record was set in March 1990, when 3.7 million people tuned in to see the show. This means that nearly every second Swede saw the game show. På spåret is an original format developed by Ingvar Oldsberg for SVT, and he hosted the show for many years. Author and tennis legend Björn Hellberg was promoted from contestant to permanent Oldsberg sidekick in 1995 after winning for four straight seasons. Famous gourmet, restaurant-owner, and former contestant Carl-Jan Grankvist sat in for Hellberg during the 2004 season. In 2009, after 21 years, Oldsberg left and Kristian Luuk took over as the host. Björn Hellberg too decided to leave and was replaced with Fredrik Lindström.

When Håkan's mother Karin, who usually does most of the work in the family, becomes so stressed at the beginning of December that she breaks down and has to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital, there is a crisis, because Christmas is coming soon. Who will clean up, decorate and buy Christmas presents? And above all, where will the money come from?

Sune, an 11 year old boy struggles with girl troubles and school while he and his goofy family prepares for Christmas with failed attempts at all of the usual December traditions.

The first appearance on screen for Bert Ljung, a normal teenager who's diary Swedes have been able to follow in well over ten books now. As in the books, he fights spots, looks for girls, runs his moped, plays with his weird friends Ake and Erik, and a lot of other stuff teenagers are supposed to do.

Karin, Rudolf and their three children Anna, Sune and Håkan live in the small town of Glimmerdagg. Just like all parents, they try to make the everyday puzzle work, it's just that everyday life is rarely mundane with this family.

The film is based on a series of immensely popular Swedish children's books, about the boy Bert, who is just hitting puberty and having the usual problems with it. But that's where the usual ends abruptly.

Bert is finally turning 13. After years of waiting, he is finally becoming a teenager. For his birthday, he wants Rebecka from the parallel class, wrapped in shiny foil or jumping out of a cake. The worst thing that can happen in life is a health check, especially if you are 13 years old. Bert, Åke, Klimpen, Torleif, and the other boys in the class sit petrified with fear, waiting for the extremely terrifying Sister Ilse. The class is raising money for a class trip. Bert comes up with an idea—they will organize a gala where Bert's rock band, Heman Hunters, will play. At the same time, Klimpen threatens to perform as a stand-up comedian. Bert's new love is called Nadja Nilsson. Through Torleif, he finds out that she plays the violin, which Bert immediately starts practicing instead of soccer. But what will he become? A violin-playing phantom in love or a celebrated goal scorer?

Håkan Bråkan really wants a pet, but first he has to prove to his parents that he is a responsible enough and attend a scout camp. The question is whether Håkan Bråkan will make it through his week at camp without causing mischief or chaos. Especially when old familiar thieves and an interesting treasure map enter the picture!

All Max’s previous dreams of a pleasant life as a big brother are shattered by the screaming and demanding little brat that is his new-born little sister. Bert wants to go to the beach and check out the girls in bikinis in general, and Paulina in particular. Bert's dad is going through a midlife crisis. Bert is forced to take over his dad's optician shop because his dad Fredrik would rather play with Bart's rock band "Heman Hunters". This turns out to have certain advantages, because a wonderful, fantastic girl comes to the shop. It's time to start middle school. Åke gets off to a strong start by blowing up the chemistry lab, and Bert falls in love with Ida. But Ida is with a guy called "The Gravedigger." For some reason, he wants to skin Bert alive.

Sune and his family discovers an old painting that could be worth a fortune. There's only one problem, it lacks a signature. Follow the Anderssons in a wacky roadtrip through Europe, filled with crazy fun.

The Svensson family goes on a ski-vacation during the winter holiday. Sune, the family flirt girl-charmer, is yet again pulled into a difficult relationship and his father Rudolf is pushed into difficulty parent challenges while the little brother Håkan is up to no good. The big sister being ashamed of her family and the mother Karin tries to glue the family together and enjoy their vacation.

The film takes place during the weeks that best pals Bert and Åke are going to do prao. Åke does his at Bert's father's optician's shop, while Bert has landed at restaurant Tippen. Here, Klimpen and, more importantly, Molly also do prao. Both Bert and Åke are in love with Molly. Molly seems to like Bert. And Åke? He has no idea. Difficult questions, dilemmas and intricate lies pile up to finally explode and Bert risks losing both his best friend and his great love.
