A man kills his lover in order to marry a wealthy woman. The murder is witnessed by two children and they try to reveal the truth which no one believes.

A social worker rescues a pretty young woman from an old rich landlord who wants to marry her. Enraged by this, the landlord falsely accuses the social worker of murdering his employee.
