"The Challenge" consists of master classes and a 24-hour cinema challenge. The competition requires the formation of a team and creating a short film within 24 hours with a theme set by the mentors. The theme for the final round of the 2024 edition in Bulgaria was "barrier", which is also the name of the movie. "Barrier" ranked in 4th place of the final round. The film has been slightly modified from its version shown in the competition.

“Blood from a mole” is a short film inspired by the short story by Zdravka Evtimova. It tells the story of a woman who is ready to offer even the most unlikely remedy - namely, mole’s blood - to desperate people who are searching for hope and salvation.

The theme of the 2024 edition in the city of Varna was "force" (as in force of nature). Five students of Dedal Art School participated in the competition. Their film "White paper" won the first prize.
