Tatort is a long-running German/Austrian/Swiss crime television series set in various parts of these countries. The show is broadcast on the channels of ARD in Germany, ORF in Austria and SF1 in Switzerland.

Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.
The story of a group of Berlin youths from the post-war period to the post-reunification era. A gripping story of friendship, love and betrayal against a global political backdrop, told in a three-part documentary drama. Friends Kurt, Lotte, Jakob, Silke and Bernd experience everyday life together in post-war Berlin in 1948: between rubble women and the black market, rival youth gangs and first love. Thirteen years later, as the flow of refugees to the West increases, they try to hold on to their friendship. But the estrangement becomes ever more apparent and the gang members lose sight of each other. Only after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 do the former friends finally find each other again and have to ask themselves whether they are still bound by the vow they once made: "Nothing can separate us, not even death"...

Jojo was counting on his inheritance from a rich uncle to pay off his gambling debts, but the old man played a dirty trick on him, giving him custody of an oversized dog, and leaving the real cash in the hands of one of his neices. His comfortable fantasy of future solvency has been sorely tried; to restore it, he begins to try wooing his cousin Kathrin (the woman with the loot). However, as things progress, he finds himself actually falling for her, which is perhaps the only really decent thing that he's done in his adult life. When he and a gambling buddy take Kathrin on a jaunt to the south of France, things get pretty dicey when a corrupt cop comes onto the scene. In this romantic thriller, only one will survive.

Through archival clips and personal reflections, Dominik “meets” his father and confronts the West German society and film industry of that era, where scripted narratives often outweighed real life.
1984: Scientists and a group of cultists discover intelligent beings in space. The initial effects of their alien biological order are terrible. The doctors are at a loss. But despite increased security measures, life still goes on. "Beings from another star? - That's ridiculous!" The show must go on. Two attractive young girls rehearse a dance for a commercial, but the recording equipment goes on strike. Filming is finished. Full of optimism for their future, the girls travel to a theater director's hotel. However: "Mr. Goldwine has been missing for three days. Only his luggage is still here." Tina, who painfully remembers her last love, is brought to her senses by the cool, blonde Doris. Now it's time to take a deep breath. Strangely, the flowers in the window box have withered. Fluorescent stones glitter instead and are picked up hypnotized. The UFOS break through the earth's atmosphere. People are carried off by rays of aggression.
