In 2009 in Andalusia, in the wake of the financial crisis, Carmela, a 7-year-old girl, spends her days at her grandparents' country house. During her stay she befriends a hen, Fabiola, with whom she forges a beautiful friendship. Through her imagination, Carmela manages to escape from the absent relationship with her parents.

Where do memories go when they decide to leave us? Where do dreams go when we forget them? Where does love go when it ends?

Carmen goes to work one more day at “La Tertulia”, a cocktail bar on Betis Street.
