Four young officers of the Hong Kong Police are joined together to fight against organised crime using all possible means, even if this would lead them to break the law… Their first assignment is to eliminate a gang of criminals who have stolen a shipload of explosives.

Policeman Ted Chan, who doesn't have the best record on the force for cracking cases, suffers from flashbacks after witnessing the suicide of pregnant Irene who dramatically leaps from the roof of her apartment after dousing herself in petrol. When there are two similar deaths in their district, Inspector Yip asks Ted to solve the mystery. The connection is that the victims were all avid users of ICQ and frequently visited the same website. Ted and his colleague Gigi discover that the webmaster is called "God of Death" and that through his chatrooms he enourages his community to commit suicide. While Gigi arranges a meeting with the webmaster, also known as Keith, Ted finds that Inspector Yip has encouraged a young officer to shoot himself in the police toilets...

The story in "Snake Charmer" is about some mystery murders that take place in Hong Kong where the victims are found poisoned by a very rare and deadly toxin. A single woman (played by Marsha Yuen), who works as a night club called Club Medusa, is tied to the murders, as she is the last to be seen with the victims in every single case. Inspector Chi-Wai Man (played by Jackie Lui Chung-yin) is assigned to the case and is working on a tight deadline to crack the case.

Debt collector Bruce has unusual collection methods, including torture by rock music. Having a bad day, he comes home to find his wife having sex with another man and is then confronted by triad boss Bill who gives him just three days to collect all outstanding debts. Then caught up in a heist by robbers Lung and Keung, he is kidnapped and forced to dig his own grave... By chance, Pui Lau finds Bruce's haunted mobile phone. They enter into an arrangement: Bruce will help Pui seduce pretty Maggie away from her rich boyfriend Royie if Pui helps Bruce punish Bill, Lung and Keung.
