Hardi is a jobless broke guy who is looking for a job, until one day he "accidentally" meets his old friend who now works as an illegal parking attendant. That meeting brings him to the job he was looking for, but the job is informal and has an unfavorable system.

Hana (23) is a young woman trying to adapt to her new surroundings by joining a band with her cousin, Arum (22). She writes a song for their band, hoping they can make it into a music audition. But her strong desire to always be in the spotlight starts causing tension within the group. Eventually, things fall apart, and she loses her sense of direction haunted by memories of her late mother. It's through this breakdown that she finally begins to realise the mistakes she’s made.

Roda Kota Arteri Jakarta explores Jakarta’s latest public transportation system, Mikrotrans (often called JakLingko). Beneath its perceived success, the documentary uncovers systemic realities where delayed wages and demanding work targets affect driver performance, passenger comfort, and safety. Through multiple perspectives, from drivers and operators to government officials. The film reveals structural conflicts within a public transport system whose ideals have yet to be fully realized.
