Tomás is a young man who watches his absent father repeat, with his younger brother Octavio, the same patterns and lies he once used with him. To make up for missing Octavio’s birthday, their father invites him on a fishing trip and asks Tomás to drive him halfway. What begins as a simple half-day errand turns into a revealing journey, where the brothers must come to terms with the fact that their experiences with their father will never return, while Tomás realizes that, for a long time, he has been the closest thing to a true father for Octavio.

Juan, a young Latin American student, is forced to run away after witnessing the enforced disappearance of his best friends in Mexico.

Gema’s suicide attempt brings her three children together after many years, on the eve of an unusually cold Christmas in Guadalajara. Cristina, stubborn and deeply Catholic, sees herself as their mother’s caretaker; Sony, a psychic on the local Latino TV channel, fled as far as she could over twenty years ago and never came back; and Brunito, the much younger one, a frustrated biologist and forty-something gay man still dreaming of finding the love of his life. A cold front moves in and traps them inside the house, threatening to bring back the family’s most painful memory—and place it right on the table.

The story of the short film revolves around Ivan (26) who has been in a toxic relationship with his partner, Isaac (28), for years. One night, after a fatal fight, Ivan decides to leave his home and flee in the middle of the night, carrying all his belongings, without money or help from anyone, until he finds a place to sleep. Reluctant to take refuge in a hostel where he shares a room with strangers, he runs back to Isaac's apartment, but no one answers the door. Unrepentant, he decides to escape to a party with his old friend, Eric (30), an unfinished memory of his past. They are accompanied to the party by Gus (27), his boyfriend, who seems quite comfortable with their open relationship... The intimacy leads them to relive the past, at the expense of Gus's feelings and Ivan's turbulent past. That night, the shadow of his crab returns to haunt Ivan... and remind him of what it felt like to fly.

After a violent confrontation, a wounded soldier is rescued by Yolanda, an elderly farmer, and her granddaughter Alejandra. The two live on a ranch in the middle of the mountains, where they hide the young man. While Yolanda decides whether they should help him, putting their own lives at risk, Alejandra will try to confirm her own suspicions.

Jesús wakes up at his best friend's house without remembering anything about the night before. While he survives and conceals his infinite hangover, he will have to deal with the professional and personal successes of friends and strangers, as well as face obvious failure in the near future.

A group of people on their way to a protest are kidnapped. We follow them in their journey through the darkness, not knowing whether they'll see light again.

Leonel works at convenience store late nights, a time of the day when the harassment imposed by the paramilitary forces in the city becomes evident. The brutality he witnesses often leads Leonel to tag a wall with a message. His message is answered, and realizes he is not alone, there is more people that suffer and fight back the oppression practiced by the Mexican state.
