Shizuki Yamashita

Soko Magattara, Sakurazaka? is a Japanese late night variety show starring Japanese idol group Sakurazaka46. It is hosted by Yū Sawabe and Teruyuki Tsuchida and airs every Sunday at 12:35 AM JST on TV Tokyo.

This documentary follows Sakurazaka46's 4th Generation prior to their debut as they spend 5 days on a training camp learning 3rd Generation's song "Seijaku no Boryoku" and eventually go back to Tokyo to prepare for their Debut Showcase. In the middle of worries, struggles and personal dilemmas, the nine girls discuss and discover what type of idols they want to be.

Hidden in a back alley unknown to the world stands a mysterious hotel. After being handed a key by the enigmatic manager, a group of young women are led to Room 205 — where each encounters a strange and wondrous world beyond imagination.

Beginning of winter at the foot of Mt.Fuji. The longest training camp in the history of the Sakamichi Group begins. The assigned song was the one with the highest dancing difficulty, "BAN." "You can't stand on stage as Sakurazaka46 members like this." Harsh words echoed in the silent gymnasium. Dreams. Hopes. Bonds. Conflicts. Setbacks. Loneliness. Smiles. Sweat. Tears. All this emotion in in close-up footage taken over 170 days. Sakura like no one has ever seen are now about to bloom.
