Jade Porciatti

Amir, a 60-year-old Iranian man, arrives in Hingham, Massachusetts, on a tourist visa and rents an Airbnb across the street from the house of Fariborz—an old friend and former comrade from the Iran-Iraq war, now living with his distant wife and young grandson. They haven’t seen each other in over forty years.

Following a stint in prison, a young man returns to friends and family waiting for him across New York. Except his girl has moved on, money ain’t what it used to be and this isn’t the same bustling city he left behind. It’s all good.
