Six lucky people are chosen to participate in a high-stakes Survivor-type game, Wolf Hunt, in which the winner takes home 10 million dollars. The rules dictate that the players conceal their assigned identities and vote out a suspected Wolf each night. The execution of the Wolf and its targeted prey will take place the following morning and this process will be repeated until the real Wolf is hunted down, the only variable being the fate of a prey either blessed or doomed by the Witch. What is love in the time of Coronavirus, when people are separated in both space and time? Wing returns to Hong Kong from Taiwan upon learning that her estranged father is dying in a hospital but she has to undergo quarantine in a hotel. Talking to her father through the screen, Wing realises she can never forgive this older man who abandoned the family many years ago, while the other man, her husband, seems very far away in Taiwan. Isolated in the tiny hotel room, Wing battles alone with the diseases of body and mind, caused by old and new grievances.

Rocky is a talented boxer, but is forced to quit boxing for being an asylum seeker. Rocky starts a new life when his coach tries to build him a career and life while staying afloat in Hong Kong. Helping with moving and volunteer work, he gets to know other tenants like Raja and Bitto and hears about their life stories. He realises that they have nothing left but he still has boxing - and that calling has never stopped.

At some point in life an age-old question will inevitably crop up: Do we swim against the tide or go with the flow? The band, Against the Tide, was doomed before it even started. A year later, the songwriter is selling his soul to catchy pop tunes and commercial music, hitching his wagon to else’s grand schemes while being hitched by a young music devotee; the bassist is venturing north across the border; the drummer is working as an insurance agent and all set for fatherhood. Before the factory building is demolished for a lucrative redevelopment scheme, the band members, bar one, return to their studio to clear out the place, contemplating making a final appearance for a farewell gig. The reunion takes place, albeit obliquely, each member putting their best foot forward to steer their own course.

Fai is mired in work on a project that appears to foreshadow the wake-up call he is about to receive. Rushing to the bedside of her grandmother, he is shocked to learn that not only she is at risk of being paralysed following a stroke but that her faculties have been compromised by advanced Alzheimer’s. Let’s Get Lost ultilises the thematic motif of road movie genre – both protagonists have to embark on a journey of revealing their true identity. As a result, the film widens its scope to the geo-political differences between Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.
