With Pettersson dressed as the king and the other actors as the royal suite, they all go to Herrsunda castle where the officer is trying to make an impression on his fiance.

The manager of the theater, Gravander, gives her the leading part in his latest show, in order to befriend Brenner. Everything is fine until Loffe gets the same order - at the same regiment. When Tosse comes to the regiment, it becomes a case of mistaken identity. Manager Blom and his family stop at a mountain hotel. Once there, all family members are insolent and even cruel to both guests and staff. When the hotel manager tries to get rid of the family Manager Blom buys the hotel. But all of the staff resigns while a telegram to the family Blom tells them they are ruined! To raise money the family begins to work on and operate the hotel.
