A voiceover acts as the thread of an intimate narrative, intertwining with the story of Ferdinandea Island, born from a sudden eruption in 1830 off the coast of Sciacca, and disappearing after just six months. The short film blends together various materials: film footage, gameplay from a video game, and operational images from a study of the seabed.

The film explores the idea of self-healing. Within the video game The Sims 4, a Sim hovers lightly over its empty body, guided by an audio track of a guided meditation. Meanwhile, random videos interfere with the search for that moment of tranquility.
