Biography
Nicolás Núñez is a Chilean filmmaker with a degree in Audiovisual Communication. With a strong technical and artistic background, he has specialized in cinematography and image post-production, standing out for his visual sensitivity, professional commitment, and collaborative approach on set. His career spans various fields within the audiovisual world, having worked on short films, music videos, documentaries, and experimental pieces. He was the cinematographer and colorist of the short film Dos Horas, selected at the 2025 Lebu International Film Festival and Femcine 2025. He also worked as director of photography on El Cambiazo, where he further developed a visual style that blends technical precision with emotional storytelling. In 2025, he directed Génesis, an experimental short film that symbolically explores the evolution of an idea through a dreamlike and introspective aesthetic. Back in 2021, he joined the large-scale production Un Like de Navidad as a production assistant, gaining experience with high-level technical and logistical teams. Additionally, he worked as cinematographer on Las Cenizas, selected at FICVIÑA 2023, reaffirming his commitment to auteur cinema.
