On a sweltering summer morning, just as Wei-Han was heading out for delivery run, he discovered that the fridge had broken down—all of his girlfriend Chia-Lin’s ice pops had melted. Chia-Lin called the landlord, insisting that he replace the old fridge with a new one, but Wei-Han didn’t want to escalate the situation. The two began to argue in their cramped rooftop room.
A boy’s closest friend is a cow he has grown up with. When the cow faces an uncertain fate, the boy embarks on a journey, determined to keep his friend safe. Along the journey, he comes to see that love, care, and understanding are far more complex than he had imagined.
