Biography
Filip Šovagović (born September 13, 1966 in Zagreb, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Croatian actor, playwright and journalist. At first known simply as the son of renowned Croatian actor Fabijan Šovagović borned in Ladimirevci, Filip Šovagović has appeared in many films and TV shows in the last decade and a half, gradually building a reputation of his own. His films include No Man's Land, Oscar winner, and in 2005 he made his directorial début with the film Pušća Bistra. Šovagović is author of five plays, one of them, "The Brick", won the most important European radio award, Grand Prix of Italia. He writes a column in the Croatian daily newspaper 24 sata. His sister Anja Šovagović-Despot is also a renowned actress.

Wind Beneath the Wings

Operation Barbarossa is a kids TV show, based on the novel The Mysterious Boy by Ivan Kušan. It is a story about a boy who for some time lives in the belief that he is to blame for the death of a friend, a peer, who drowned in the Sava river. In order to cover up his death, the boy takes his name (because he had just come to Zagreb when he disappeared) also goes to another school. Thus, in two shifts (before noon - afternoon), he tries to be a student in two schools and gets into many dramatic situations. The riddle is, of course, solved by Kušan's main character Koko.

The main character Martin inherits silver cigarette case from a dying soldier. This act connects to the story in 1993 when we meet Martins grandson Tomo. He is one of six soldiers of the Croatian army who have come to the same place in Bosnia to meet the same phenomena and similar fate.

The Melon Route

Three prisoners, Combe from Rijeka, Menso from Bosnia, and Bogart from Belgrade, escape from prison. Their final destination is the city of their dreams - Hamburg. They temporarily part ways and agree to meet at the train station in Zagreb. First, each of them goes to his hometown. From there on, we follow three separate stories. In the first, Combe, in the shady harbor district of Rijeka, tries to get back at his former crime partner, Mrvi, who turned him in to the police. In the second story, we witness Mensa's relationship with his wife Riza and their children in a small Bosnian village. The third story depicts Bogart's love affair with a young teacher in a Belgrade suburb. Afterwards, at the train station in Zagreb, Bogart finds out from the newspaper that the police caught his friends. At the last minute, he changes the original plan.
