On 4th November 2007, thirty years to the exact day since their last visit, The Stranglers made a triumphant return to The Roundhouse in London. To commemorate this anniversary, the set list was based on the original 'Heroes' Tour of 1977, showcasing material from their debut album Rattus Norvegicus and it's follow up No More Heroes. Featuring the classic four-piece format, with bassist Jean-Jacques Burnel sharing lead vocals with guitarist Baz Warne, the distinctive keyboard sounds of Dave Greenfield and the awesome percussion skills of Jet Black.

On 11th August 1990, what began as just another Stranglers gig at Alexandra Palace became their final performance with founding member and frontman Hugh Cornwell. Fortunately, the night was captured on film, preserving a piece of music history for fans to experience again and again.

"On Stage On Screen" is a live DVD recording by The Stranglers of their concert at Shepherd's Bush, London on 10 December 2004. The performance comprised an acoustic set, the premiere of the short film Norfolk Coast (starring Jean Jacques Burnel) and the live set. The Parr Street Chronicles is a behind-the-scenes visual companion to About Time, featuring candid studio footage of The Stranglers. Originally released as a fan-club-only VHS/DVD by The Stranglers Information Service (SIS), it documents the band’s 1995 recording sessions at Liverpool’s renowned Parr Street Studios. The footage, much of it captured by frontman Paul Roberts himself, offers a raw and intimate glimpse of the band at work, a snapshot of the mid-’90s Stranglers era.

George Melly explores his lifelong relationship with surrealism in all its forms and prominent personalities.

It is the poetic chronicle of a city: Paris. A city critique, but a good natured one (the declaration of intention is bloody : Cities are illegal slaughterhouses). The experimental reality of everyday life is explored with insight and humour through improbable dialogues between pigeons, statues, and even a tap and a washbowl! There is on the one hand, the individual at home, grappling with its walls (which are fully fledged characters in this film) and on the other hand, we see the outside world composed of the rhythms and colours of daily urban activities. A mixture of special effects, animation, features reworked into montage, and realism consolidates the fantastic, bizarre and ironic style of the film. M. Mazé

The French TV series Les Enfants du Rock produced a documentary on The Stranglers during the release of their eighth studio album, Aural Sculpture. Being a French production, the film leans heavily on Jean-Jacques Burnel, featuring moments such as him performing “Euroman” from his solo career, teaching a karate class, and even strolling the streets in drag. The documentary captures a unique and engaging portrait of the band: Jet Black delivers reflective monologues straight to camera, Hugh Cornwell is interviewed mid-workout, Dave Greenfield demonstrates how he can program his keyboard to “answer” interview questions, and the band is even shown selling their own Strangled magazine on a street corner. Twenty one years after their recording debut, the Stranglers celebrated the release of their 13th album with this sell out concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 13th June 1997. The band were accompanied by an eighteen piece string woman orchestra to perform tracks from throughout the years including 'Golden Brown', 'Skin Deep' and Kinks cover 'All Day and All of the Night'.
