Biography
Austin Lindsay is a writer, director and actor. He was born in North Bay Ontario, Canada. He began his career directing and producing short films at 18 years old. His debut short film Querencia (2018) which premiered at the North Bay Film Festival in 2019 followed the story of an elderly man reconnecting with his deceased wife. The film won the award of distinction at the Canada Shorts Film Festival in 2019. Austin would go on to produce and direct 5 more short films including Abduction (2019), Mortified (2022), Andre and The Kid (2023), Walter’s Room (2024) and Pool Sharks (2025) Before beginning his acting career in 2023. Austin Lindsay began his acting career on A24’s hit comedy series on Amazon Prime Overcompensating (2025) starring Benito Skinner. Upcoming roles include Prime Videos Cross seasons 2, expected to premiere late 2025.
