Leila, a 28 year old Syrian American woman, anxiously awaits the outcome of her mother’s immigration interview in a hotel room that is meant to be their meeting place if her mother is approved to enter the US.

Three months removed from a harrowing break up, a man is unexpectedly faced by his ex. Through the battle of present and past, and of self and other, he finds roots in the reality of what was- even once he realizes that the encounter might not have been what he expected at all.
