BREAK THE ICE is a family drama about a young couple, Paul and Julia, spending Christmas Eve with Julia’s family. However, her parent’s disapproval of Paul and their relationship puts a layer of tension on the night’s festivities. Paul is hoping to purpose to Julia, but feels he must gain her father’s trust and approval in order to make the proposal.

We follow the day to day life of Rylee, a girl navigating the harsh realities of homelessness and addiction. Every choice becomes a matter of survival-forcing her into situations no one should have to face as she struggles to find money, meaning, and a way forward.
