Lec Hunter is an emerging Australian filmmaker and director based in Melbourne. In 2024, she wrote and directed Crème Brûlée, a poignant 14-minute short film that explores the complexities of grief and familial bonds. The film premiered at the Melbourne Women in Film Festival (MWFF) as part of the Next Gen Shorts program, showcasing the talents of up-and-coming filmmakers from Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
