Paralysed by fear of the future, a middle aged French bureaucrat escapes to Brazil where a destructive affair with a boy forces her to learn to live in the present.

A group of friends travels to a beach house on an island on the brazilian seaside to celebrate the end of high school, a place virtually no one else inhabits and which is almost always dark. However, their drollery and parties are cut short by the feeling that the place shelters an unfathomable horror.

The biographical series “Eu não desisto de você” (I don't give up on you) reconstructs the trajectory of lawyer Ana Vasconcelos (1944-2009) through the testimonies of former street girls from Recife-Brazil, who attended the non-governmental organization Casa de Passagem in the 1990s, created by the lawyer to combat violence and sexual exploitation of street girls. The protagonist Betânia, now a psychopedagogue, sets out to find the other women whose lives were transformed by Ana Vasconcelos. Past and present intertwine with a feminine view of the process of social transformation.

Upon arriving in Pernambuco, north of Brazil, Mika (25), a young middle-class girl from Rio de Janeiro, gets close to an outsider group who lives luxuriously. As time goes by, Mika finds herself hiding her latent prejudices, which makes her develop a constant feeling of fear.

Based on the short story of the same name by writer Ezter Liu, the film "Geisiely with Y" tells the story of a woman who was physically and psychologically abused through the eyes of the police officer who assists her. Geisiely, like so many others, is a woman who seeks some dignity in the depths of the facts.

"Feet on the ground, window to the sky" is a mini-documentary that brings to light the importance of the protagonism of youth in the process of planning, elaboration and decision making related to urban designs. Through the story of Yasmin Bernardo, a young resident of a community in Ibura, Recife (Pernambuco), it is possible to access, at the same time, a critical perspective of the reality she lives in, as well as creative and inventive ways to overcome limitations imposed by social inequalities, urban violence, among other elements that prevent young people like her from fully experiencing what the city has to offer. The documentary is the result of the Designing Public Spaces Workshop held by UN-Habitat in December 2021, when young people from Ibura discussed the challenges and desires for public spaces in the community.
