Biography
Nguyễn Trường Khang is a film and theatre actor/director based in Hanoi. He graduated from Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema in 2021 and completed an advanced acting course at the "Autumn Meeting/Talent Incubator" programme within the Da Nang Asian Film Festival 2023. He won a Silver Medal in the acting category at the 5th International Experimental Theater Festival. In 2024, Khang appeared in several film and theatre projects, including the TV series "Tokyo Salad Bowl" by Japan's NHK and a rendition of the play "Hồn Trương Ba, da hàng thịt" directed by Japanese director Tsuyoshi Sugiyama, which was featured at the National Theatre Festival 2024 and performed at the Hanoi Drama Theatre. In early 2025, Khang joined the cast of the film project "1982", directed by Nguyễn Hoàng Điệp. He also appeared in several short films, including "Somewhere in Dreamland" (directed by Châu Thúy An) and "Chạy tới Giáng sinh" (directed by Nguyễn Minh Hoàng). He is also the screenwriter and director of the short film "Giấc mộng lạ của gã mộng mơ".
