The film tells the story of Rustam and Nargiz, a family with two young children who are going through difficult times. For more than six months, the family has been facing serious financial problems. In order to escape this difficult situation, Rustam is forced to work as a day laborer. One day, a client comes to the labor market and offers him a job for a “good” amount of money. The main events begin after this. This job changes the lives of both Rustam and his friend Babek.
The film is about the khan of khans, the brave commander Javad Khan, who fought for his homeland against Russian troops led by Sisianov at the beginning of the 19th century, together with his sons, and died bravely.
The movie describes the last remaining years of the great Azerbaijani poet, Huseyn Javid who was the victim of 1937-1938 USSR repression.
