Biography
Aki Fairbanks is a filmmaker from Seattle, Washington with a BFA in filmmaking from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. While in school, he helmed several student films, worked on a documentary while studying abroad in Ireland, and was an associate producer on a short filmed on location in Tuscany, Italy, which screened at festivals. He worked as a programmer for Northwest Film Forum’s local sightings film festival and has experience covering live events as a camera operator.
