Inspired by the writings of Jean Baudrillard, this film - shot entirely within the videogame Red Dead Redemption 2 - examines people's perception of history, in this case the Wild West period, and how it has been influenced by media representation and recreation, or perhaps how it has been entirely replaced by it.

A study of water, light, reflection, motion and abstraction.

By using both real and simulated drone and helicopter gunsight footage this film creates a composite montage that blurs the lines between what is real and what is fake and the way in which soldiers have become desensitized and detached to the reality of the combat they are engaging in - as if they are in a videogame - but also how people in general have become desensitized to images of death and violence and the dehumanisation it can and does lead to.
