Biography
Since the young age of five, Nils has been hard at work writing, directing, filming and editing short films. He is now 17 and has made over 200 films, feeling completely ready to make his mark on the film industry. He is most known for his work on the award-winning "MIMIC" (2025) - which he wrote, directed, edited, composed and shot himself - as well as the award-winning "G.L.A.D.I.S." (2025) for which he was a part of the cinematography crew.

This short film was made by 16 young filmmakers as part of EE’s Set The Stage programme, in partnership with BAFTA. “Setting Sail” explores the themes of "Growing Up in Britain Today". Following Hannah, and her younger self, Peanut, on a nostalgic treasure hunt.

MIMIC

Due to his family struggling financially and his mother’s recent cancer, Sebastian feels a weight of responsibility to contribute financially to his family's current situation so he enquires support from his best friend Gabriel who is part of a drug gang where he suggests Seb takes a loan of money from the gang to help support his family. In spite of that, Seb learns that the gang is untrustworthy and even Gabriel is a threat.
