Biography
Mariana Alvénez is a spanish filmmaker born in Valle de Santa Ana (Extremadura, Spain). She won her first award when she was 18 at the Youth International Film Festival placed in Plasencia. After starting a Audiovisual Communication degree, she has been the director and writer of many shortfilms. Her most recent project is “La Dorada”, a short film that won second prize at the fifth edition of the CavCrea competition.
