Dr. Jennifer Hooper is a materials scientist and Titanic expert featured in several historical documentaries. She earned her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, focusing on historic materials and conducting research at the Smithsonian and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Her work analyzing 48 rivets recovered from the Titanic helped shape our understanding of the disaster and led to her book ‘What Really Sank the Titanic?’ Dr. Hooper appears in History’s Greatest Mysteries (2024) and Titanic: The Digital Resurrection (2025), where she shares her insights into the ship’s construction and ultimate fate. Her other credits include Titanic: How It Really Sank (2009) and Seconds from Disaster (2006).
